Large number of trains services through Warrington Central cancelled
A LARGE number of train services in, out and through Warrington Central are currently not running.
This is due to issues with the signalling system between Liverpool Lime Street and Warrington Central.
As a result, it means the lines are blocked.
Services provided by a number of rail companies have been affected, including Northern, Transpennine Express, and East Midlands Railway.
Instead, bus replacements have been put in place until the issue is solved.
