A WARRINGTON man has been charged with rape by police officers investigating an incident in London.

At 10.25pm on Thursday, June 27, a member of the public reported that a woman had been found partially clothed in Manor Park Gardens, Edgware.

The victim, aged in her 20s, reported walking along the road when a man jumped out and dragged her into a garden before attacking her.

Following a fast-paced investigation, Metropolitan Police officers arrested a man in Warrington on Saturday, June 29.

He was taken into custody at a London police station and charged yesterday, Monday.

Kyle Kinsella, of Arlington Drive in Penketh, has been charged with rape and intentional strangulation.

The 26-year-old was due to appear in custody before Willesden Magistrates’ Court that same day.

A Met Police spokesman added: “The victim continues to be supported by specialist officers.”
