THE Home Secretary has endorsed the Conservative parliamentary candidate for Warrington North ahead of the General Election on Thursday.
On X, formerly Twitter, Yasmin Al-Atroshi, posted a video of Conservative James Cleverly and thanked him for his ‘support and endorsement’ of her candidacy to become the next MP for Warrington North.
In the video, Mr Cleverly said: “I’m James Cleverly, the Home Secretary, and I am asking everyone in Warrington North to vote for Yasmin Al-Atroshi.
“She will be a fantastic champion for the local area, a wonderful representative to the people of Warrington North. So please vote for Yasmin on the 4th of July.”
The other candidates standing in the constituency are Labour’s Charlotte Nichols, Liberal Democrat David Crowther, Reform UK’s Trevor Nicholls, the Green Party’s Hannah Spencer and independent Maddison Wheeldon.
