LONG delays are expected to continue through the morning along the M62 in Warrington following a police incident.
Traffic was held on the eastbound side of the carriageway after an incident this morning, Sunday, between junction 10 M6 J21A (Croft Interchange) to junction 11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood).
Trapped traffic has now been released but National Highways is still reporting delays.
A diversion has been put in place and motorists are being advised to follow the hollow circle signs.
