A BAND who has played at Windsor Castle for the late Queen Elizabeth II is coming to Stockton Heath this weekend.
Stockton Heath Music Society is hosting the 2nd Rossendale Scout Group Band on Saturday.
Formed back in 1963, the senior band, which has more than 100 young members, performs across the north of England.
It has performed with many well-known bands, including Fodens, Grimethorpe Colliery and Brighouse and Rastrick Bands and most recently with the current national champions, the Black Dyke Band.
The band has also appeared at Windsor Castle for the late Queen and at many fine concert venues including the Bridgewater Hall, The Royal Northern College of Music, The O2 Arena, and Cologne Cathedral.
The event will take place at St Thomas’ Church Hall at 7.30pm.
