THE number of people registered to vote in Warrington in the General Election has been confirmed.
The General Election will take place on July 4 – and the voter registration deadline passed last week.
Warrington Borough Council has been asked to confirm how many people in the town have registered to vote in the General Election.

It has confirmed that, as of June 21, the electorate for Warrington North totalled 70,738 and for Warrington South it totalled 78,590.
The electorate for Warrington North, as of May 31, was 69,846 and for Warrington South it was 77,290.
Therefore, the increase between June 1 and June 21 totalled 892 in Warrington North and 1,300 in Warrington South 1,300.
