COUNCIL planners are set to rule on plans to create an Airbnb holiday let in Fearnhead.
An application has been submitted to Warrington Borough Council’s planning department for an annex at 28 Cinnamon Lane.
Applicant Stuart Halliwell is seeking permission for a change of use from a residential annex to an Airbnb holiday let.
Document submitted as part of the application state: “The proposed development is a change of use from a residential annex to an Airbnb holiday let.
“The development aims to provide a local holiday let for people visiting the area and improve economic growth through visiting families.”
The annex is situated within the private grounds of 28 Cinnamon Lane and can be partially seen from the road.
Documents add that parking arrangements will not be impacted as there is ‘ample’ on street parking, while no external construction works are proposed.
Bin stores will remain as existing and will be located within the external storage yard.
The application is with the council and will be decided upon in due course.
