THE greatest hits tour of one of the UK’s best loved bands is ‘coming home’ to Warrington this winter.
The Lightning Seeds, perhaps best known for smash hit ‘Three Lions’, has been together for 35 years and is celebrating the milestone by putting together a Greatest Hits album, ‘Tomorrows Here Today’, on October 4.
But it’s not just the album fans have to look forward to, as the band will also be embarking on a 20 date UK tour.
Due to popular demand, an extra show has been added, bringing the band to Warrington Parr Hall on Tuesday, December 10 at 7pm.
“I can’t believe it’s been 35 years,” said Ian Broudie, lead vocalist and guitarist.
“Our first single ‘Pure’ opened the door to a life’s worth of songs, shows and recordings.
“I owe everything to ‘Pure’ and I’m really looking forward to celebrating the 35th anniversary of its release with ‘Tomorrow’s Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds’ greatest hits album and tour in 2024.”
Tickets for the show at Parr Hall go on sale on Friday at 10am, and can be purchased here, along with all other performances already on sale.
