A LEADING consultancy behind some of the UK’s most prestigious projects has relocated and opened a new office in Birchwood Park due to the high office quality.
Gleeds is a global built environment consultancy that has supported the delivery of projects such as the London 2012 Olympics, HS2 and Hinkley Point C power station in Somerset.
The company, that has nearly 3,000 employees worldwide, has officially relocated the headquarters for its energy business to Warrington.
Gleeds will now occupy more than 2,700 square foot in Chadwick House, in Birchwood Park after it recently underwent refurbishment.
“We are looking forward to joining the thriving energy and infrastructure community at Birchwood Park,” said Andy Ellis, Global Head of Gleeds’ energy business.
“The larger office space will enable us to expand our team and make the most of collaboration space to serve our clients.
“The Park’s impressive amenities and networking opportunities align excellently with our commitment to excellence and innovation in the energy and broader built environment.”
The new office space in Chadwick House features amenities such as a new reception area, a fully refurbed café and a collaboration area.
“We are thrilled to welcome Gleeds to Birchwood Park, further enhancing our reputation as a leading destination for established and growing businesses in the energy and construction sector,” said Linda Welsby, leasing manager at Birchwood Park.
“By joining a vibrant network of like-minded infrastructure businesses such as the National Nuclear Laboratory, the Northern Nuclear Alliance and the Nuclear Advances Manufacturing Research Centre, Gleeds becomes part of a thriving energy and infrastructure cluster located right here in the heart of the north west.”
