POLICE have named a man suspected of dealing drugs.
At around 3.20pm on Tuesday, officers from Cheshire Police were on patrol in Victoria Park in Latchford.
They stopped and searched a man in the park, and he was subsequently arrested.
Now, Lewis Shackleton has been charged with drug offences in connection with the incident.
The 24-year-old has since been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, namely crack cocaine and heroin, and one of possessing criminal property.
Shackleton, of Oswald Road in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester, made a first appearance in relation to the charges before Chester Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Wednesday.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, July 17.
