A DOG suffered puncture wounds after being attacked by two other dogs at a pub.

The incident occurred at The Woodlands pub on Highfield Avenue in Penketh yesterday evening, Wednesday.

Cheshire Police received reports that a dog also suffered a dislocation from the attack by two other dogs, described as ‘blue staffs’

Officers say the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with any information is urged to get in touch.

A force spokesman said: “At 8.05pm on Wednesday, June 19, police were called to reports that a dog had been attacked by two other dogs at The Woodlands public house on Highfield Avenue.

“The caller reported that their dog had been bitten by two blue staffs, causing the dog to sustain a dislocation and puncture wounds.

“Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing.”
