A POPULAR Warrington pub renowned for being dog-friendly has been nominated for yet another national award.
The Maltings in brands itself as a dog-friendly community pub with a view, serving quality pub food and drinks.
It is this dog-friendly nature that has seen the Bewsey Farm Close venue, on the edge of Sankey Valley Park, recognised among the best in the country.
For the third year running, The Maltings has been named as a finalist in the Best Pub for Dogs category at the Great British Pub Awards
Staff are hoping it can go one step further at the finals in September and be crowned the very best.
Announcing the news, The Maltings said: “We are so happy to announce that we are finalists in this year’s Great British Pub Awards for Best Pub for Dogs.
“We have worked incredibly hard this past year and are very proud to see our efforts recognised.
“We would like to say a big well done to our fantastic team for all their hard work and dedication to making our wonderful pub so dog inclusive.

The Maltings has previously been crowned the most dog-friendly pub in the north west at the Dog-friendly Pub Awards.
