FIVE hard-working mums are on a mission to raise a whopping £10k to pay for a brand-new playground at their children’s school.

The members of the newly formed Bruche Primary PTA group are organising the school’s first fair in five years.

And they have big goals of raising thousands from the event to fund a new play area for all the pupils to enjoy.

The summer fair is set to take place on Saturday, July 6, and admission is free to all.

Speaking on the event, organiser Tamara Shaffer said: “We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting our first summer fair in 5 years, and it will also be my first time organising such an event.

“As a newly formed PTA group consisting of 5 dedicated working moms, we have set ourselves an ambitious goal of raising £10,000 for a brand new playground at our school.”

Included in the excitement of the day will be bouncy castles, fair games, stalls and face painting.

For those parents needing a moments peace, there will be a ‘chill out’ tent.

And refreshments will also be available to purchase throughout the day.

Attendees will be able to purchase tokens at 50p which will cover a range of things including the tombola, tea and coffee and snacks.

The tokens will also cover raffles, PTA ran games and stalls.

Meanwhile a massage tent, other stalls and face painting will be payable directly.

And you can purchase 10 tokens in advance from the school office for £4.50.

No dogs except guide dogs are allowed into the event.
