A SCHOOL has pulled out all the stops in preparation for Penketh Scarecrow Festival.
Young pupils at St Vincent’s Catholic Primary have created a display bursting with colour outside the front entrance of the school.
In an appreciation post on social media, the school said: “EYFS have been working very hard to create our mini beast scarecrows for Penketh Scarecrow fest.
“Come and see them at the front entrance of our school.”
The brilliant creation includes bees, butterflies, ladybirds, honey pots, a humongous black spider, a wooden snail and a stuffed Hungry Caterpillar.
Preparations have been taking place all week for the festival, with the scarecrows coming out on display from Sunday (June 16) until Saturday, June 30.
And the theme this year is animal kingdom, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re in the Penketh area.
