A VILLAGE pub has been ranked among the very best in Cheshire by judges.
People looking for an enjoyable pint can look no further than The Brewery Tap in Lymm, which is one of the county’s finest.
Run by Lymm Brewing Company, the Bridgewater Street bar was recently named Pub of the Year in north Cheshire by CAMRA – the Campaign for Real Ale.
This meant the venture was entered into the regional competition across Cheshire – and it came second.
Breaking the news, Lymm Brewing Company said: “The good news keeps on coming.
“As you are aware, we won Pub of the Year in north Cheshire by CAMRA.
“By winning this award, we were automatically entered in to the next stage for best pub in whole of Cheshire.
“We have been informed that The Brewery Tap came second place.
“As you can imagine, we are all ecstatic and over the moon by this announcement. The Brewery Tap putting Lymm on the beer drinking map.
The Brewery Tap brands itself as an authentic craft ale bar and micro-brewery in the heart of Lymm village.
The news was greeted with praise by customers, with one commenting: “Congratulations. A massive result and so well deserved.”
Another wrote: “No surprise to me, congratulations.”
