A MAN has been arrested after allegedly abusing a family in the town centre.
In a Facebook post last night, Friday, officers revealed they had arrested a man in Old Marketplace on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.
They say this is after he was allegedly verbally abusing a family ‘with children in tow’.
At the time of writing, officers said the suspect was being booked into custody.
