POLICE and an ambulance were called to a crash in Warrington town centre this lunchtime, Friday.

The incident happened on the blue bridge close to Brian Bevan Island heading to Centre Park.

Three police cars and an ambulance were reported at 11.30am.

One vehicle was involved in the incident.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "At 11.30am on Friday 14 June, police received a call in relation to concerns about the manner in which a vehicle was being driven.

"Officers stopped the vehicle on Park Boulevard and the vehicle has since been recovered."
