TWO local businesses have teamed up to create a “culinary masterpiece” that is available for just one day – while stocks last.

Snoutwood Trotters and Tomlins Bakehouse have announced a delicious collaboration between the two popular businesses – the signature Welsh dragon pie.

The “culinary masterpiece” features succulent pork from the Great Sankey farm encased in Tomlins’ famous pastry crust.

The limited edition pie will only be available tomorrow, Saturday, at the bakery on Synge Street and the farm on Laburnum Lane.

Mark Fitzpatrick, owner of Tomlins Bakehouse, said: “For one day only, you can savour this unique creation at both Tomlins Bakehouse and Snoutwood Trotters farm shop.

“The limited edition pie is set to become an instant classic but remember – once they’re gone, they’re gone!”

He added: “Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to experience the harmonious blend of flavours brought to you by two of your favourite local businesses.”

In May, Tomlins Bakehouse took our second Best of 2024 title – Warrington’s Best for Pies.

Liam Tickle and Rebecca Scott welcomed The Hairy Bikers to their farm last September so the culinary duo could film for their recent BBC Two show The Hairy Bikers Go West.
