THE inquest into the death of a 71-year-old man from Penketh has been formally opened after he was found unresponsive.
David Brettle was found at his home by his wife on June 4, who called for paramedics to attend.
The court heard that despite CPR attempts, paramedics pronounced Mr Brettle dead at his home.
Due to the ‘unnatural’ nature of Mr Brettle’s death, and inquest has been formally opened by Senior Coroner Jaqueline Devonish.
The inquest will take place on September 25.
