A 56-year-old man was found deceased at his home in the town centre after consuming crack cocaine, cocaine and heroin for three days, an inquest heard.

Sean Seddon was found dead by a friend at 10am on May 13 after last being seen awake at 2am the night before.

Both Mr Seddon and his friend had been consuming crack cocaine, cocaine and heroin together for the past three days, Cheshire Coroners Court heard on Wednesday.

Mr Seddon had fallen asleep on the sofa in his residence the night before and, when his friend tried to wake him the next morning, he found no response.

The emergency services were called to the property and pronounced Mr Seddon dead upon arrival at 10.30am.

Senior Coroner Jaqueline Devonish concluded that Mr Seddon’s cause of death was due to cardiorespiratory failure due to acute bronchitis combined with drug toxicity.
