LONG queues are building on the motorway due to a 'police incident'.
The incident is currently happening on M62 eastbound from junction 11, Birchwood, to junction 12, Eccles.
Two lanes were closed and traffic is heavy.
The road was reopened around 4.45pm but delays remain.
