A POPULAR market is returning to Great Sankey this weekend for a Father’s Day special.

Taking place on Saturday, the artisan market will feature a 50-stall lineup, live music, and glitter face painting.

And there will also be a whole host of Warrington’s finest and small and independent businesses.

Besides this, local resident James Pendlebury will be hosting a glitter art and keep it up football game raising money for Mencap – a charity which supported his sister-in-law throughout her life with cerebral palsy.

The market, which is organised by Independent Street and Great Sankey Parish Council, is taking place at The Woodlands.

There is free entry and the event is dog friendly.

A spokesperson for Independent Street said: “Tell your mates, tag your family and bring the pooch for a mooch.

“Together with the Great Sankey Parish Council we can’t wait to be back in town.”
