A HISTORIC event is returning to a village in Warrington this weekend.
Thelwall Rose Queen will be taking place on Saturday.
As always, the event will consist of a fantastic day of processions, competitions, entertainment and stalls.
The day will kick off at 1pm with a procession around the village, before returning to the Parish Hall field for displays in the arena, as well as a host of food, games, cake, and more.
Fantastic scarecrows are currently being displayed around the village in the leadup to the event as part of Thelwall’s eight annual scarecrow parade.
