A MAN has been arrested after crashing into a wall.
Just before 10pm on Friday night, police were called to a one-vehicle crash on Lythgoes Lane near to Cockhedge Roundabout.
On arrival, officers found a car had crashed into a wall.
The driver, a 41-year-old man from Newton-le-Willows, was taken to hospital as a precaution.
He was also arrested and then later charged with failing to provide a breath test.
The suspect will next appear before Warrington Magistrates’ Court on July 15.
The road was closed following the incident and a large police presence was spotted at the scene.
