A WARRINGTON charity is hosting a fun day so it can continue to provide support and care for its furry friends.

The event is organised by the self-funded RSPCA Warrington, Halton and St Helens branch.

As well as aiming to raise funds, the day will also celebrate 200 years of the RSPCA.

There will be live music, market stalls, a barbecue, refreshments, a tombola, a raffle, and much more – including a dog show with plenty of prizes up for grabs, including brightest smile and waggiest tail.

The event is taking place on June 22 from 10am to 2pm at the Slutchers Lane centre and entry will be free.

A spokesperson for the branch said: "Your generosity and compassion helps us provide shelter, food, and medical care to hundreds of cats and dogs every year.

"Its thanks to you we can provide them with a second chance at a happy life.

"Let's come together, have fun and do some good for our furry friends."
