A MOTORBIKE that was stolen off the drive of a home in Great Sankey was discovered in a bush six miles away.
CCTV footage from the home on Barrow Hall Lane showed three men wearing balaclavas, stealing a red Honda MSX Motorcycle from the drive in the early hours of the morning of Sunday, May 26.
Police officers were called to the address at around 11.48am on the Sunday following reports of a vehicle theft.
The caller had reported that three unknown offenders had stolen the bike from outside the address.
Cheshire Police confirmed the CCTV footage also showed the offenders attempting to steal the car from the drive too.
And an appeal for information was made, following the incident.
More than a week on, Merseyside Police confirmed the motorbike was located on Sunday, six miles away and 'hidden in a bush'.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "A member of the public came across the bike hidden in a bush on Wharf Road, Newton-le-Willows at 10.40am on Sunday.
"We informed Cheshire Police who informed the owner and the bike was collected.
"No update on the condition apart from the registration plate was missing."
