A PUB has issued a CCTV appeal after a reported incident over the weekend.

The Cheshire Cheese has posted stills on its social media page which it says were captured from CCTV cameras inside the pub on Saturday afternoon.

Owners say a group of visitors to the Knutsford Road venue ordered a large amount of food but then left without paying while it was being cooked.

The Latchford pub appealed for anyone who knows the people in the photos to ask them to return to pay for the food ordered.

The appeal reads: “Anyone recognise any of the people in these photos?

“Been in the pub today, were rude to staff, then ordered a big order of food and left without paying while the food was being prepared.

“If you know them, can you ask them to kindly return and pay for their order please?”

Cheshire Police has confirmed that it has had no reports of any incidents of this nature from the pub on that day.
