DELAYS were experienced on the M6 near Woolston after a crash.
Police were called after reports of the collision involving two vehicles along the carriageway at around 1.45pm this afternoon, Friday.
The incident reportedly took place between junction 21, Warrington and junction 21 A.
Delays were building following the crash but the incident has now been cleared.
A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: "At 1.45pm on Friday 31 May, police were made aware of reports of a collision on the M6 between junction 21 and 21a.
"The collision involved two vehicles. There are not believed to be reports of any injuries."
