WORK has been carried out to fix broken traffic light signals on a main road in Warrington.
An issue with the signals at the lights on Orford Road were reported to the council at around 11.11pm yesterday, Wednesday.
And a resident posted on a social media page to warn residents to ‘be vigilant’ as the lights at the T-junction going towards Birchwood Way were completely out.
Warrington Borough Council confirmed that work had been carried out in the early hours of the morning to fix the issue.
A spokesperson for WBC said: “There was an issue reported to us on 29 May at 11.11pm that the traffic lights were out and an engineer attended on 30 May at 12.30am.
“The signals were restored on 30 May at 12.45am.”
