CHEERS to Dead Eyes – Warrington’s Best for Cocktails 2024!
With party starter the Flaming Zombie and pornstar martini trees on the menu, it’s easy to see why Dead Eyes is such a popular place for cocktails.
And they’ve retained the Best for Cocktails title they won last year making them double award winners.
In April, we launched our Best of 2024 competition.
This year’s search for Warrington’s best in a whole host of categories started with hair and Kate Lucy Hair Studio was crowned our first winner quickly followed by Tomlins Bakehouse and their pies.
Next up were picture perfect nails with By Maisie Beck taking the title and The Blue Bell is officially Best for Roast Dinners.
Then we moved onto cocktails with customers and readers sending their nominations and votes for their favourite venues to get a speciality drink.
Voting for Warrington’s Best for Breakfast is currently taking place and we’re also looking for nominations in our latest search - Best for Fish and Chips.

We toasted 12 terrific cocktail places in Warrington who made the shortlist for Best for Cocktails with Dead Eyes taking this year’s coveted crown making it back-to-back wins.
Owner Graeme Keast and general manager Alex Tennant took over behind the pumps at the Bridge Street venue in March 2021.
Graeme, who is 37, said: “We pride ourselves on being the best at everything we do and always want to deliver a great experience for our customers.
“During the week, you can have a cocktail and play beer pong, which is always great fun.
“During the daytime at weekends, it’s a relaxed vibe where people come for some great cocktails in a relaxed cocktail den.
“We often have live music on during the evenings and then the party starts with music for everyone!”
Dead Eyes real party starter cocktail is the Flaming Zombie, which is a pint of cocktail.
The pornstar martini cocktail trees are a great seller.
Graeme said: “At Dead Eyes at the weekend, we will go through Billy Ocean to Gerry Cinnamon with a sprinkle of Tina, Cher, Backstreet Boys and even clubland classics.
“We wanted to create a safe space with an Irish Bar style environment, where you can come on your own and still have the best night.
“Many customers have commented on the fact it’s such a safe environment and how much they enjoy our cocktails with wonderful team, which is led by Alex and his assistant manager Jing.
“Our menu is created by the team with staff having drinks named after them on the menu as well.
“All the ingredients we use for our cocktails are only the best - our team puts pride into every drink and is passionate about making quality cocktails.”
What do customers think about the cocktails at Dead Eyes? Why did they think they deserved the win the title again this year?

“We were absolutely delighted to win again.
“Warrington is filled with independently owned bars all with their own personality and unique offerings.
“We can’t thank our customers enough for their loyalty and support.
“Please keep supporting us and all of the great local bars and pubs in Warrington.”
