CCTV footage has been released after three masked men stole a motorbike and attempted to take a car off the drive of a home in Great Sankey.
Officers were called to an address on Barrow Hall Lane at around 11.48am on Sunday following reports of a vehicle theft.
The caller reported that at 5.05am that day, three unknown offenders had stolen a red Honda MSX Motorcycle from outside the address.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "CCTV footage showed that the offenders, who were all wearing balaclavas, also attempted to take a car from outside the address.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us , quoting IML-1832763."
