YOU could win free tickets to one of the many events taking place at Walton Hall and Gardens this summer.
It comes as the Warrington Guardian has teamed up with Walton Hall and Gardens and its festival partners at Daresbury Festival to offer the giveaways.
The first free tickets, of which four are available, are for the Old Time Sailors at The Old Riding School which is returning to the estate after a sell-out debut last year.
The Old Time Sailors are a flash mob musical show designed to take you back in time through an unforgettable trip to the 19th century.
Every member of the audience will be able to purchase a copy of the ‘Sunday Sailor’, the Old Time Sailors own newspaper shaped programme, which includes the lyrics to all of the songs from their three hour show – plus personalised postal stamps – in order to sing along and become a Sailor for one epic night.
The crew is composed of 17 musicians playing fully unplugged to ensure the most authentic experience.
For a chance of winning, all you need to do is email the correct answer to the following question to lois.dean@newsquest.co.uk
How many alpacas is Walton Hall and Garden’s children’s zoo home to?
In the near future, more free tickets will be up for grabs for the following events:
- Julius Caesar on Friday, June 7
- Could Be Real festival on Friday, June 21
- Daresbury Festival on Saturday, June 22
- Gloworm Warrington on Sunday, June 23
