CROWDS of people could be spotted outside of a new bar that opened in the town centre last weekend.

Cameron Brown's aim was to create a bar which offers a safe space for people to be themselves and enjoy a nice drink.

The Padgate resident has brought his vision to life with the opening of Lickle on Suez Street.

After weeks of hard work and construction, Lickle opened its doors last weekend.

And it IS already proving to be popular, with crowds of people spotted outside of it over bank holiday weekend.

Cameron took to Instagram to thank customers for their support on Lickle’s opening weekend.

“I thought Friday was a good night, but yesterday was next level,” a post reads.

“It was very humbling to have so many people turn out and support this lickle independent bar.

“Thank you for all your kind words and also for your money.”
