RESIDENTS have been warned of an ongoing flooding issue in one area of Orford.
A flood warning was posted to social media yesterday, Thursday, concerning one area of Orford Lane, outside Heron Foods shop.
Concerned local and political candidate for Orford, Carol Kilgannon, took to Facebook to warn residents of the ongoing problem in the location, which is used as a car park for the shop.
She said: "I've been contacted several times regarding the huge puddle (swimming pool) outside the frozen food shop on Orford Lane.
"Every time it rains its causing a huge issue. I've reported it to the council and I'll update when I receive a reply."
An Orford resident commented on the thread to echo her concerns, saying: "I had to walk in the road quickly with pram this morning to get round it."
Meanwhile another said: "It's about time they put bigger drain pipes in around Warrington."
