MAJOR roadworks will take place in Latchford next month.
Sections of Knutsford Road will be closed for carriageway resurfacing work with the job being carried out in sections.
The work will mean the affected parts of the road closed for five weeks between 7pm and 1am from Monday, June 3.
This will be from its junction with Park Avenue to its junction with Grammar School Road; Halla Way for its entire length; Brook Place from its junction with A56 Stockport Road for 50 metres and Wash Lane from its junction with A56 Stockport Road for 50 metres.
Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works.
The alternative route will be via Bridge Foot, Mersey Street, Church Street, Farrell Street, Kingsway North, Kingsway South or via Thelwall Lane, Kingsway South, Kingsway North, Farrell Street, Church Street and Mersey Street.
The restrictions are required for carriageway surfacing.
