WORK to extend Warrington’s Marks and Spencer store has been agreed.
Plans submitted to Warrington Borough Council’s planning department relating to the retail giant’s Gemini store, off Europa Boulevard have been approved.
Applicant Marks and Spencer is seeking permission for the conversion of the existing conservatory.
This is to the side of the existing retail unit and is currently used as a small garden centre selling plants.
Plans are to include this area as part of the main store, with work planned to the roof and walls.
Plans were approved last week.
