TRAFFIC is building along the M62 westbound near Birchwood due to an obstruction on the road.
One lane has been closed and queues of traffic are forming along the motorway between junction 12 M60 J12 (Eccles Interchange) to junction 11 A574 Birchwood Way this morning, Friday.
This is due to an obstruction on the road which is as a result of an earlier broken down vehicle.
National Highways estimate conditions to return to normal between 12.45pm and 1pm.
