A FIXTURE on the high street in Stockton Heath is closing after 17 years.
Indian restaurant Cardamon told customers it will be shutting its doors for good at the end of the month.
In an emotional statement, it thanks customers for the loyalty over the years.
The restaurant, on London Road near to Nando's, has been one of the most popular in the village.
The full statement said: "It is with sincere regret and sadness to inform you all that after 17 years, Cardamon Restaurant will be closing down the business on May 31.
"Over the years we became part of the Warrington community and we have built great relationships and friendships.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your loyalty, support and kindness that we endeared throughout the years!
"As our final farewell and thank you we would like to invite you all to join us at the last free event: Michael Jackson tribute night on May 24."
Anyone interested in attending can book via the restaurant.
