A DRIVER lost control of a vehicle and mounted an Aston Martin parked outside a luxury car dealership in Wilmslow.
Police on patrol came across a grey Volkswagen Tiguan which had mounted the bonnet of a blue Aston Martin parked outside a dealership on Water Lane.
The incident happened at 4.37pm on Tuesday, May 7, when a man reportedly lost control of a car and reversed onto the bonnet of a 73 plate Aston Martin DBS, worth more than £200,000.
The vehicle was left parked on an angle after crashing on top of the sports car.
People walking past looked bewildered trying to fathom out how the car could have ended up in such a precarious position.
The police are investigating to find out what happened.
The Volkswagen was removed by vehicle recovery specialists.
Debris was strewn across the forecourt as the Aston Martin was left crushed and damaged.
The Cheshire Police spokesman said: “Both vehicles have been recovered and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.”
