FIRE crews were called to a kitchen fire yesterday afternoon, Monday.
Two fire engines were dispatched from Warrington and Penketh to the scene on Sunningdale Close at around 4.47pm.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property to find the source of the fire in the kitchen at the home.
They used a horse reel jet to extinguish the flames.
A thermal imaging camera was then used to check there were no further hotspots.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire said: "The cause of the fire was found to be accidental."
