ORGANISERS are busy preparing for a second Attic sale to be held at St Oswald’s church hall, Winwick.

It takes place next Saturday, May 25 between 10am and 2.30pm.

The first event in April was so successful with a good turn out from customers looking for bargain buys, that the church is to hold a second sale with more attractive goods on offer.

The decision to home in on a spring clean time of year for donations from house holders wanting to give their attics and storage areas a clean out, was a good one as the church raised more than £750 from the first sale toward maintenance and repair funds.

New donations are already beginning to pour in and will offer a fresh selection of sale items, some new, others with antique appeal.

Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available.
