BENTS have announced revised plans for its annual charity Fun Run after it was called off due to flooding.
The run was due to take place at the Glazebury garden centre on Saturday, April 27, but was called off after Windy Bank Woods flooded.
Now, the event has been rescheduled for Saturday June 8 at 2pm, in the hope of having blue skies and sunshine for the day.
Those wishing to take part are being invited to do so in their pyjamas for the event which was been dubbed ‘Jim Jam Jog’.
The Jim Jam Jog is a 5k route through Windy Bank Woods, which is at the rear of the garden centre, and is open to people of all ages and abilities – and dogs are welcome too!
The event is being held in aid of Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CRAFT), Bents Charity of the Year for 2024.
Tickets are £4 per adult, £2.50 per child and a pre-registered family of four ticket is just £10.
All proceeds will be donated to CRAFT to help children who are impacted by illness, disability or social disadvantage.
The Cheshire charity offers day visits and residential breaks with friendly, safe and engaging activities for young children.
The Jim Jam Jog will commence at 2.30pm outside The Pet Place, and medals await all participants at the end of the route.
To take part, register all participants here – or donations can be made on the day.
