MOTORISTS are experiencing delays of up to half an hour on the M62 near Birchwood due to a broken down vehicle.
Queues of traffic are building along the the westbound side of the motorway between junction 12 M60 (Eccles Interchange) to junction 11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood).
Two lanes closures are currently in place while highways services attend to the broken down van.
National Highways have confirmed delays of up to 30 minutes and it is unclear when the incident will clear.
