A SHOP in Stockton Heath has announced it is closing its doors.
Pip Squeak and Wilfred, based on London Road, revealed the news on social media.
The store, which offers children’s clothing, toys, and gifts as well as children’s fitted shoes, opened in March last year.
Pip Squeak and Wilfred said the closure is due to increasing overheads and the cost of living crisis.
The post reads: “However, this is not goodbye.

“We are working on new ways to operate to ensure we can still provide a much needed and much loved service.
“Keep an eye out for further updates in the next week explaining how you can access our free measuring and fitting service.
“In the meantime you can still order from our website as usual.”
The business has thanked its customers for their patience, understanding and loyalty.
“We hope to see you very soon,” the post continues.
