ONE Warrington primary school has been shortlisted for an award in the UK’s most prestigious education wards.
The Tes Schools Awards 2024 celebrate excellence across the education sector, handing out a range of awards for different categories including best educational settings, best schools for curriculum, head teacher of the year and much more.
Shortlisted schools are then referred to a judging panel made up of industry experts who will decide the winners of each category.
And among the list of nominees is Penketh South Primary School and Nursery, one of three schools in Cheshire to be shortlisted within the awards.
Penketh South Primary have been shortlisted for the title of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Setting of the Year.
There are 21 categories which schools could be nominated for in the Tes School Awards and the ceremony which will announce the worthy winners will be hosted at Grosvenor House Hotel in London on June 21.
