FOUR men, including two teenagers, have been arrested after a large police presence was spotted in Latchford.
At around 2.50pm on Friday, officers were called to a car park on Westy Lane following reports of a car being involved in a collision and ‘men running from the vehicle’.
At the time, a Cheshire Police spokesperson told the Warrington Guardian that two people had been arrested in the Bridgewater Avenue and Richmond Avenue area following the incident.
Now, it has been confirmed that four men have been arrested in relation to the offence.
An 18-year-old, a 20-year-old, and a 22-year-old were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
Meanwhile a 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, drug driving, and theft of a motor vehicle.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “They have been bailed pending further enquiries.”
