BRITAIN’S Got Talent winner George Sampson had recreated his iconic dance move from his winning performance.
George, who won the competition at only 14-years-old, is a dancer and performer from Birchwood.
In 2008 George auditioned to take part in Britain’s Got Talent, after he had auditioned the year before and failed to make it to the live semi-finals.
When he re-auditioned, he was a firm fan favourite and came top of his semi-final with his performance to Mint Royale’s remix of Singing in the Rain.

In this performance, which he is probably best known for, he danced in artificial rain and performed a trick where he hung sidewards from a lamppost.
Now, George has posted a video of him recreating the trick to his social media to the same song as his original performance after making a deal with his followers.
“I made a deal with my stream that once we passed 100 subscribers on TikTok Live that I would go out and find a lamppost to recreate my 2008 singing in the rain lamppost trick,” he said in the video.
The dancer, who is now 30, performed the trick 16 years after he won the competition with the same move.
George still performs, most recently taking part in pantomimes and in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’s UK tour as Dean in 2021 and 2022.
He also streams online where he plays games and talks to his followers.
Britain's Got Talent is back on ITV on Sunday at 7.40pm and is available to watch on catch-up on ITVX.
