A MAN arrested for having a pee on a police van has not been charged.
A 41-year-old man from Warrington was arrested shortly before 11pm on Sunday on suspicion of urinating on a police van in the town centre.
Officers were out and about on patrol when they spotted a man having a pee on their vehicle.
After the suspect was taken into custody and questioned, it was decided not to take the matter any further.

A Cheshire police spokesman said: “Following questioning the man was issued with a community resolution.”
Community resolutions provide an opportunity for the police to deal with appropriate low level offences and offenders without recourse to formal criminal justice sanctions.
It is primarily aimed at first time offenders where genuine remorse has been expressed and where the victim has agreed that they do not want the police to take more formal action.
The resolution could include a simple apology, an offer of compensation or a promise to clear up any graffiti or criminal damage.
