WARRINGTON bus firm Omega Busways has agreed a deal to sponsor six Warrington Wolves players.
The company is supporting three players from the physical disability rugby league team and three from the wheelchair rugby league team.
“We are thrilled to be sponsoring these talented players from the Warrington Wolves disability rugby league teams,” says Ian Howard, managing director at Omega Busways. “Their passion, dedication, and athleticism are truly inspiring, and we are committed to supporting them as they pursue their goals on the field. The Warrington Wolves Foundation have played an integral part in my family and we are delighted to be involved so more local people can benefit from their excellent work.”
Isaac Williams, head coach of the Warrington Wolves Wheelchair Rugby League Team, adds, “I personally want to thank Omega Busways for sponsoring three of our players for the upcoming season. The support to these individuals and the team as a whole is vital for the upkeep and running of the team to make sure we can be the best we can possibly be and push on for success in the upcoming season.”
Nathan Jezierski, team captain of the Warrington Wolves Physical Disability Rugby League Team and one of the players sponsored by Omega Busways, said: “Since I joined the club, the lads have been like brothers to me, we work hard on the pitch and have fun off it together.
"We stick to the core values of commitment, mateship and pride in the badge. We’ve been working hard in the off-season to retain the trophy we won last year.”
