A SUSPECTED shoplifter has been arrested in Latchford.
Police in plain clothes were looking for a man wanted for a number of shoplifting offences across Warrington on Sunday.
A police community support officer on foot in The Forge received a report of a man matching the description of the suspect acting suspiciously near Marks and Spencer.

Detectives hotfooted it the scene and a man was arrested.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “Our local PCSO, who was out on foot in The Forge, received a report of a male matching the description of said wanted male, acting suspiciously near to Marks & Spencer.
“Plain clothed officers made to the area and intercepted the male in the Latchford area a short time later.”
